On tap at Ballast Point - Darker amber with very little head. Earthy, smokey salsa nose. Taste is very spicy, very spicy with smokiness. Yeah, big spice burn. I’ll them credit for going all out on the spice. gorditoabd (637) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 30, 2011
Taster at the home brew mart. Pours a russet hue, a little initial foam that fades. Nose is all chipotle spice and smoke, but very well blended. Taste starts smoky, then spicy, then smoky again, settling on a lovely, lovely blend of the two. Tried the Habanero Sculpin about a month ago, and I really prefer this blend. Seems a better mix. Excellent.
