Made with only six ingredients. Malted 2-row barley, palisade hops, orange blossom honey, White Labs California Ale Yeast, apricots and San Diego carbon filtered tap water. Low bitterness is balanced by tart apricots with a sweet but not cloying finish. Barmy Ale can be aged up to eight years with a strong honey wine character emerging if cellared. Be careful not to be the barmiest of them all.

Appearance: somewhat hazy bright copper. Finger of small white bubbles. Nose: lightly roasted malt with honey sweetness. Apricots and a little earthy hops. Taste: Lightly sweet blending neatly with the natural sweet/tart apricot flavor. clean finish Body: Medium with lively bubbles. Parting thoughts: A very well done apricot beer. good amount of sweetness. Very deceptive alcohol content. Very surprised to see 12%.

Draft - Butterscotch and sweet stone fruit. Opaque with a decent white head. Fruity and a touch of booze with some long sticky fruity notes.

Light tart sour. But enjoyable Lots of body sweet and enjoyable. Very boozy. Not lots of fruit other than the sour that comes through.

I dont think that its fruit beer... But ale... No apricots, almost... Its honey but its not fruit. Like the bruerys guava but different. Ale notes... Trapist- like...

bottle - Hazy orange pour. Smells of apricots, malt, and honey. The flavor is sweet and fruity with ample honey character. Almost too sweet, but it's enjoyable.

This is by far the best beer I’ve ever had. Very hard to find this excellent beer though. Be warned though. One beer equals about three beers in alcohol strength. So great value! Fabulous taste. Apricot and honey flavors but not sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Universal Liquor at Universal City in LA on 14 October 2017. I don't think that I have ever had a fruit beer with such a high alcohol content but having said that you wouldn't know if was 12% when you are drinking it. Clean and crisp and went down well after a long afternoon and night of walking around Universal Studios.

Bosbouw (3082) - Gemonde, NETHERLANDS - AUG 29, 2017
Oranje bruine kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt fruitig, zoetig, kruiden, honing. Smaakt zoetig, kruiden, abrikozen, honing.
