3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I started, as I always do with a new beer, enjoying and savouring each sip (gulp) and with this I just ended up enjoying it as a quaffing beer. It’s sneakily very good. No over bitter, and no rush of under taste of hops and a fine balance of hops.
If you like IPA you could do a lot worse than getting your own party in a bottle with one of these.
355ml can. Pours a hazy orange with a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, peach, orange, grapefruit and light pine needles. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, peach, grapefruit, orange peel and pine needles with a dry, bitter grass finish. Medium to full body with
an oily texture and average carbonation. Nice. OminouSC2 (800) - Mora, SWEDEN - AUG 17, 2017

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2017 Very good beer. Not too piney. El Barrio serves a nice tap. Birthday growler. wojanex (285) - warszawa, POLAND - AUG 1, 2017
Bardzo goryczkowe, bezkompromisowe, żadnych soczkowych dolewek: rasowa kalifornijska ipa. Może być. FunkyF (1268) - Örebro, SWEDEN - JUL 31, 2017
På fat på Bishops Arms Örebro. Brunröd med smutsvitt skum. Doft av citrusfrukter. Lite väl besk smak med en del grape.

Beautiful looking orange to reddish, head went to the sides slowly. Little bit of lacing sticks to the glass. Aroma has nice caramel malt body, pines and grapefruit hops. Taste has sweet caramel malts, pines, resin and grapefruit hops with moderate bitterness. Fullish body and medium carbonation. Nice and malty IPA. alexsdad06 (10589) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUL 17, 2017
Bottle from backlog notes. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have lightly toasted malts, caramel, orange citrus, light resin, herbal notes, good, drinkable ipa. PatrickEthan (1) - California, USA - JUL 5, 2017 does not count
Aroma: Sweet with citrus, pine & grass overtones, only slight grapefruit scent <>
Appearance: A beautiful rust-gold color almost tending toward red <>
Taste: A nice rush of hops, finishing slowly, comes on for 10 seconds afterwards with bursts of sugar, citrus, pine, grass and grapefruit; delicious! <>
Palate: Slightly oily, lite acerbic bitterness, ripening towards the pine with only a little booziness <>
Overall: A highly drinkable IPA on the slightly sweet, piney-side with plenty of hops and a high-enough ABV (7%) to easily make it worth the admission price. At this level, and especially for the price ($9 for six-pack bottles) there may not be a better mid-level IPA. A current go-to beer for me. ReidBix (27) - - JUN 26, 2017
Pretty smooth IPA, bit of some fruity hops with a simple aftertaste. One of the easier IPAs to drink, but is still refreshing

From can in front of De Bierkoning (had this on tap once, in California in 2009, pre-RB). Clear deep golden color. Off white head. Aroma’s of caramel, dark malts, bitter hops. Bitterness is more upfront retronasal. Flavor is bitter, with dark malts in the background. Medium bodied. Long firm bitter finish. Now I need to re-retry with a fresh one.
