Our Big Eye IPA is a big hoppy brew, thanks to the abundance of American Columbus and Centennial varieties we use to flavor and dry hop. While the English originally added extra hops to preserve their beers for sea travel, we do it for the love of all that bold, intense flavor that makes India Pale Ale one of our favorite styles.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours golden orange with a nicely lacing and light off-white head. Peach and grapefruit hops aroma, very inviting and fresh. Flavour starts light sweet caramelish, goes into light malt note before a nice set of light peach, pineapple and distinct grapefruit flavour appear in the finish. Shows a light wooden note and solid dryness into the finish and beyond. Nice.

(Bottle 65 cl) Clear, warm amber golden with a tall, dense, off-white head leaving laces - thick, dense shaving foam style laces. Strong aroma of pine and citrus. Medium body with some caramel and lots and lots of lovely, fresh, citrusy aroma hops leaving a solid bitterness. Nice and classical West Coast IPA. 260307

Bottled, thanks marbles! Dark amber, small head. Grapefruit aroma. Dry with soft mouthfee. All dominated by grapefruity hops, butwith enough malt to back it up. There are more hop aroma than bitterness, but still there is a real kick of late bitterness. Really good stuff!

7.0% Bottle. Hazy amber beer, light frothy white head. Light caramel nose. Semi soft palate. Even malt with a trace of caramel. Nice base for well judged marmalade hops that never get too bitter. Well balanced beer that finishes just dry enough. Could drink a lot of this.

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2010 Bomber shared with steptin and bouche. Bright golden color, huge fluffy white head, massive lacing. Aroma of lemon trees, pine forests and grassy meadows. The taste actually brings you to mountain meadows and pine forests. Wonderful stuff. Bottle shared with Nick and Sica from Connecticut. Nice stuff.
