COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Big Eye IPA is a big hoppy brew, thanks to the abundance of American Columbus and Centennial varieties we use to flavor and dry hop. While the English originally added extra hops to preserve their beers for sea travel, we do it for the love of all that bold, intense flavor that makes India Pale Ale one of our favorite styles.

A good IPA. Bitter. Pours darkish amber with good netting. Finish is sustained but body is a little lacking for the bitterness. I would go with a more contrasting IPA (Racer 5?) in its place.

From the can. Consumed on Christmas Day :) Pours dark amber, with a large, full-bodied head. Bitter, caramel hops, earthy and floral. A good traditional IPA. Reminiscent of English IPAs. But better.

Bottle. Faint aroma of hops (dont know how old the bottle was), nice malty side, rather dry and really solid hoppy and bitter finish. Fresh bottle could be really great.

Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is resinous hops, big pine, tropical fruits, grapefruit, citrus, robust malt, caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long bitter finish. Medium bodied. Very piney and hoppy with a study malty backbone, strong bittersweet flavour, great balance... I dig it!

Really nice IPA. A lot of citrus on the nose, and although this is quite bitter, it is still very refreshing and drinkable.
