3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Orangish-amber body, off white head, spotty lacing. Nose is perfumey with grapefruit and resin. Flavor is moderately malty, with a nice grapefruit and resin hop character. A bit mellower than the nose would suggest. Medium bodied, appropriate carbonation, nice dry, bitter finish.
Fantastic beer no doubt. Smells great, hoppy and smooth. Tastes a bit like the sea. ZacM612 (813) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - NOV 11, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 11, 2017 Draft at Ballast Point. Hoppy, but with more malt backbone. Hints of caramel like a Vienna lager. Hops are piney and resinous, but a little overshadowed. george_sanchez (38) - - NOV 4, 2017
Love this beer, even more than their sculpin. Clear centenial hop, but moderately balanced. Pours amber gold in colour, highly floral. What you would expect from a big hop IPA yy0pp (1632) - - OCT 8, 2017
