Pours a medium to dark coffee color, nose is moderate with centennial hops, hints of floral and coffee. Taste is very drinkable, still plenty hoppy, finishes with a nice roasty quality. really wish they would bottle this blend.
Incredible blend of an IPA and a porter. Aromas of chocolate and floral citrus. The flavor is bold and ends bitter.

Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, cocoa and hops. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and hoppy with some grass and hints of coffee and licorice. Finish is smooth and slightly roasty with some hops and grass. Okay black IPA.
Draft. Pours amber brown with a beige head. Mild fruity hops, faint toasted malts, a good dose of bitterness, very light roast (if any), and a nice fruity hoppy finish. This occupies the space somewhere between "Hoppy Amber/Brown" and "Black IPA." Brown IPA, maybe? Kind of. Whatever it is, it’s well balanced and quite drinkable. dwyerpg (6188) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUN 1, 2015

>> Deep, clear red pour with good foam. Excellent Black IPA nose, grilled lemon and orange. Tremendously rich with light roast, vanilla, and big hops. Taste is solid Black IPA with low roast, mild soil, but ultimately it is spot on and excellent all around- extremely hop forward, mild roast, great mouthfeel. Really good, I guess this is the secret to good Black IPA :O
