On nitro at Old Grove. Pours a deep copper with a smooth off white head. Aroma of toasted malts, toffee, caramel, and some fruits. Taste is smooth and is mainly fruity, toasted malts, with some caramel and toffee and a tad of hops. Has a medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and a slightly watery, sweet, short finish. overall, lighter, maltier, slighty less tasty then Calico.

Rated on 12-09-2016 at Ted’s Wine Bar, Fort Wayne, IN. This draft beer’s appearance is a small vanilla head, copper transparent body and spotty lacing. The aroma is herbal, earthy and caramel malt. The flavor is lightly bitter, herbal, earthy, and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. A rather bland tasting beer and not one of my favorite Ballast Point beers that I have drank/rated.

Nitro. Copper colored pour. Sublte herb notes, some frutiiness form the yeast, traditional esb if a bit malty, its ok.

This bottled brew from a beer bar poured a head of foamy off-white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a very softly carbonated semi-transparent light brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was brown malt and lagerish. The semi-flat mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The thin flavor contained notes of mild nut mild hops and malt. A decent one but not one that I would consider drinking again.

Fairly true to style .burnt sugar toffee, slightly bittersweet. Good body. Balanced. Drinkable.

Slight metallic taste at the end. Nice aroma. Had on nitro at the brewery. Sort of flat- no creaminess expected with nitro.

On ÑÏTRŌ draught
True to it’s name it’s a copper color. The head is tight with lots of lace, s’nitro y’know!

The aroma is leafy & malty... Faint, but fine.

The flavor is malty & lightly sweet... very mildly bitter with a light caramel bit to it.

Flavorful but also chilled out

On tap on nitro. Pours a copper with off-white head and great lacing. Smells like a standard esb with a scent of old wet pennies and malt. Tastes fine, exactly what I expected, flavors of malt and a lengthy lingering light bitter aftertaste. Very average.

Nitro pour. Amber with an off white head. Malty base, with caramel, kettle corn, and light bitterness. No real redeeming qualities for me. Lower drinkability than almost every other BP beer.

Tap, copper pour, white head, nose and taste are bitter, nutty, some citrus, nice
