Pours a deep orange with a minimal white head. Aroma is of citrus, honey, sweet malts, earthy peppers, and some fried mango. Taste is insanely spicy with a lot of earthy ghost peppers, dried mango, honey, and sweet malts. Has a medium body with slighty creamy mouthfeel and a semi bitter, insanely tounge numbing, long finish. Overall, a interesting version of dorado that is almost too spicy and dominated by ghost peppers. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 16, 2013
Cask at Tony’s Darts Away. Clear dark golden pour. Medium white foam. Cheesy nose, oddities...there is butter, honey, sticky dried mango. Taste begins with butter and biscuit then piles on some ludicrous heat. Holy **** ****. Drinkable somehow. Hop bitterness barely holds in check a toxic reaction. Flavors brings more waxy pepper...still not a lot of flavor in the base beer- all about the heat. My wife chugged a glass of this for $20. God help her tomorrow morning.
