On draught at rogue San Francisco - pours out nice cloudy copper color. Thick long lasting head. Nose of grass, malt, booze. Taste of rum syrup, malt with hoppy backend. Really nice beer.

22 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured clear orange, nice small head, lots of lacing. Malts, citrus hops and alcohol on the nose. Taste is quite bitter but very well balanced with malts, however the alcohol is there and will hit you like a ton of bricks (not that it is a bad thing, just there...) nice sticky finish. Nice beer, very enjoyable. rader58 (926) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - JUL 2, 2013
22 oz bottle. Pours opaque copper color. Aroma of citrus, pineapple, mango, touch of spruce. Flavor is mango, pineapple, peach, caramel, spruce. I really enjoy this. The mix if tropical fruits balanced with a slight bitterness throughout. BazookaJoe (274) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUL 1, 2013
Pours golden orange with a thin white head. Not much of an aroma for a double. Flavor is excellent that finishes with huge citrus and grapefruit notes.

Tap. Pours clear amber with creamy, white head. Aroma is cookie and cereal malts, floral hops, light fruit, and faint toast. Flavor is dry malts forward followed by hop bitterness, light fruit esters, toast, and light spice; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation. snoworsummer (6069) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 21, 2013
Pours clear copper. Tastes strong and smooth. Like bitter pine and grapefruit. Quite bitter. Smells like grapefruit and hops. Medium body and carbonation. raphael (1291) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 20, 2013
On tap at Belmont Station. florid woodsy hop aroma, with a little vanilla and caramel. deep yellow with firm white head. balanced in the mouth. flavors of resin, dry toast & camomile, mostly resin. neepsntatties (2041) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 19, 2013
On tap at Belmont Station. Colour...dark, translucent golf with a thick off white head. Nose...sweetly piney with hop resin and freshly crushed hop cones. Palate...semi sweet/semi tart and slightly cloying. The hops are massive but the toffee like malt helps create a balance between the two profiles. There’s a slightly vegetal flavour in the back palate but its not a bad thing; it seems rather like green tea! A fabulous dbl IPA! This ballast concoction is golden amber in color. Not much for head. Nose isn't too apparent. Tastes spicy up front and finishes slightly bitter in the back. Overall big beer.
