Orange-red hue with a light beige head. Aroma is fruity hops-sweet, inviting goodness. Taste is a well balanced taste of malt and hops. Hops are very flavorful but do not overrun the malt. I would say this beer is yummy, yummy, good for my tummy. I am glad to see more Ballast Point beers in my area. Nice lacing.

Bomber from Rayans. Pours a quite clear orange with an orangey-white head leaving some drips of lace. Aroma has fresh fruit, floral hops and citrus, with caramel. Taste is of orangey/tangerine citrus, fresh fruits (mango mostly) and toffee, with a strong sweetness from the malt coming through occasionally, and a lot of resin. Sticky and bitter-dry, but sweet underneath, and nicely done. Medium to full bodied. Finishes strongly bitter, but sneaks some sweetness through. Alcohol presence muted. This is a really, really good DIPA. Definitely Sculpins relation. Not sure if it is "better", but it is really good.

Bottle from Bottle Caps in Daytona Beach. Clear orange-copper with an off-white head. No lacing. Aroma of citrus, caramel, and tropical fruit. Taste is fruity and malty and less bitter than expected, but still nicely hopped. Medium bodied and slightly dry with a long bitter finish. Good IPA.

Pours a slightly hazy classic golden color with a quickly attenuating pure white head. Malty aromas of biscuit, pineapple, and raisin. No real aromatic hops to speak of. The mouthfeel is a little oily with microscopic prickly sensation occurring midway through the finish. No fizziness, however. It has a medium to full body. Theres noticeable alcohol warmth after the finish that lingers and, perhaps, even increases. There is certainly more balance in the flavor than in the aroma. There is some Stone-like bitterness that appears midway and accentuates that prickliness in the palate. The malt is cut significantly by the bittering hops. There is a bit of saltiness 3/4 of the way through.

Pours clear orangish color with off white head. Tropical and citrus fruit aromas. Lots of mango, grapefruit and orange flavors with sweet maltiness. Some bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation.

Pour is a burnt orange with an off white head. Little bit of mango and hop bitterness on the nose, peach, an almost spicy character too, and a nice bready malt character. Taste is somewhat bitter, lots of tropical fruit, quite sweet, with a nice bit of malt, and theres a grassy spiciness to it as well. Medium bodied, good beer although Id think they could do better given they brew one of the best IPAs out there.

Pours light amber with a great lacing head. Aroma is grapefruit sweet. Flavor is very deep layered sweet hops, fruity not grassy. Alcohol cuts through the malt in a nice finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from 5K backlog. Pours cloudy orange with white head. Nose and taste of perfume, caramel malt, bitter orange peel, resin and cologne. Light alcohol in the finish. Tons of malt. A bit too perfumy for me. Medium body.
