5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 9, 2012
Bottle:   Amberish, fairly clear, light carbonation, moderate white foamy head, fairly sticky lacing.   Sweet candied citrus peel like aroma, hoppy and certainly on the sticky/sweet/citrusy side.   A bit more pithy on the tongue., not as sweet as I thought.   Certainly citrusy, but needs that sweet candied citrus peel I got on the nose.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   While smooth, its not as big as I thought it was going to be.   Smells sweeter, more inviting than it actually is.   Its a hoppy side of the coin, unlike what I prefer which tends to be the malty side (nearing Barley Wine category).   Still a great IIPA, just could use some touches to further impress me.   Thanks for the bottle Bill!

Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Clear orange with a small, but creamy white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is a mild caramel, citrus and pine. Medium to full body, crisp, and a bit sticky. Very heavy bitter that rapidly escalates to a peak and then lingers for an exceedingly long and dry finish.

12 oz bottle pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of pine, citrus and caramel. This is a very good beer with taste of caramel, tropical fruit and grains

22 oz. bottle. Pours clear gold, with a medium, fizzy, tan head. The nose is butterscotch, rye, spruce, and strong floral notes. Sweet and malty, with a smooth, assertive bitterness. Medium to heavy body, smooth, bubbly, and clean. This is a solid, nicely aromatic and balanced IPA.

Tap@Syltan Bar, Malmö - Amber pour with white head. Sweet fruity and malty aroma and taste, solid sweet caramel malty base, some tropical fruity hits punching through, solid hoppy bitter finish. Lovely old skool dipa.

Dark amber color, big beige head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, toffee, honey, piney and spicy hops. Sweet bitter taste with nice hoppy bitter finish and a bit dry aftertaste. Medium body and average carbonation. Very nice double IPA.

Lore (2872) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 8, 2017
almost clear dark orange to amber colour, large, creamy off-white head; aroma of pine resin, grapefruit, orange zest oils, lemongrass, celery and biscuit; taste of devastating hoppy bitterness with resiny and grapefruity notes, slight celery as well as biscuity-malty and honey sweetness - really schizophrenic! I love it!

LLaurin (503) - Motala, SWEDEN - APR 1, 2017
Nice hazy look with lots of hops and some strength in nose and taste. Palate is longlasting and also with hoppy bitterness.

ciocanelu (2858) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - MAR 29, 2017
Clear orange color with off-white head. Aroma is really malty with some biscuits and candied orange notes. Taste starts bitter upfront with some sweet malt in the background. The hops are mostly orange and pine forward. Medium to light body, medium carbonation. Overall it’s a decent west coast, really classic DIPA.
