Draft at Split Rail. Hoppy aroma, pine, citrus, lemon peel, melon. Medium-lit body but the hop and full flavor really make it more. Medium bitterness which isn’t bad for 3.8%. Pretty good.

Very bitter...and unbalanced. Little citrus or herbal aroma or taste from hops. Body is thin but decent for 3.8% ABV.

355ml can from Club de Cervezas. Pours a beautiful clear orange color with a big white frothy head that diminishes slowly and leaves a nice cap. Aroma is intensely hoppy, fruity and citrusy. Huge notes of mandarines, tangerines, oranges and grapefruit upfront and backed up by hints of green herbs, grains, white bread and mellon nectar. Delicious. Taste is mostly bitter, expressive and showcasing sweet citrus fruitiness in harmony with herbal and grassy touches. Nice neutral bready backbone. Body does not feel that light, considering how punchy this one is. You would never believe it’s 3.8% abv. Medium carbonation, strong finish and aftertaste. Definitely an excellent session IPA showing remarkable craftsmanship.

From a can. This is pretty thin, but I suppose that’s what you want with a session ipa, right? Flavor is good a bit of hoppiness. Would drink again if I wanted to go slow.

Draft - nose is mosaic and citrus. Sip adds a light malt presence. Light as the style would suggest. Meh

Shinny golden/ orange with a nice medium bubbly white head. Aroma is strong tropical fruits with some pineapple and mango. Flavor is same hoppy tones with a dry slightly bitter finihs. Nice but a bit one-dimensional and too watery.

Very nice session IPA by Ballast Point. Great fruity grapefruit-citrus aroma, medium-high carb, medium-light body. A little bit watery, but bitter and refreshing.
