Can. Classic hazy orange/amber with an off white head. Lots of caramel/biscuit malt and light citrus flower hops. The caramel/biscuit malts lead from the front, which is taken over by an assertive bitter pine resin and grapefruit middle, and light refreshing citrusy finish. Full on pale ale as you would expect from Ballast Point. Delicious. rencir (5) - - SEP 20, 2017 does not count

Slightly hazy dark gold pour with a one finger, creamy white head. Aroma is big on dank and tropical fruit, some sesame, toast, citrus and wild flower hoppiness. Flavor is toast, sweet cereal, spicy citrus, lots of dank hops, sesame oil, stone fruit, tropical fruit, a little cat box, mineral notes and a little straw grassiness. LIght body, fairly dry feel, medium carbonation. Good stuff, some odd oily notes. jthrcw (8) - - SEP 4, 2017 does not count

12 oz can at friends in Covington, VA. The ale poured a clear light Amber with an off white head and lacing. Floral hops, mango aroma greets you. The medium body ale has average carbonation. The taste is a blend of tropical fruits like mango and passion fruit. This is a well constructed pale ale. Looking forward to Ballast Point coming to Virginia.

On tap at BeerFes Osaka 2017. Big zesty nose, fruity hops. Clear gold color. Lots of tropical fruit, overripe dates, very tangy and rich in mid palate. Medium body -- a bit heavy for a pale ale. Soild stuff and very well hopped. seehaferb23 (281) - - JUL 18, 2017
A nice tasty summertime Hoppy Pale Ale to enjoy by a fireplace. Cheers from #CanneryRowBeerClub
