Sweet rich fleshy fruit aroma. Smooth sweet palate. Powerful burn, but not totally mental. I actually quite liked it, but it is a silly gimmick.

Woh, you can smell the chili, but there’s a sour aspect to it as well. Erm, tastes of chillis. Finish is just a hot burn. Barely distinguishable from Cave Creek Chilli Beer, to be honest. However, later there is quite a lot of perfume, so it is different, not just chilli. But still is not good.
Bottle - Grapefruit and habanero. Clear gold with a decent white head. Habanero heat and some grapefruit with a peppery finish. Not bad, but the heat overpowers the IPA. I would rather have the original. bhensonb (15188) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 24, 2013
Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber gold with a hoppy aroma. Med body. Flavor is quite hot. Not ghost chili, but hot. Goes well with the malt and hop, though parsing the hop profile is not to be done. Gives a bit of a burn, but not necessarily more than a major NW DIPA. The best thing is it’s not overdone. I’m sure I would never guess this to be Sculpin on a blind taste, but it works really well. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 15, 2011
Cask at GBBF 2011 - Tuesday. Clear golden/amber - white head. High chili taste - you can almost smell it. Nice flowery and citrus aroma, light malty sweetness..... everything is killed by the habanero !!! gunnfryd (14869) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 18, 2016

Flavors of bread, grapefruit, habanero and light earthiness with a smooth dry warming finish. DSG (14764) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAR 16, 2015
[2/20/15] Draught at Ballast Point Old Grove in San Diego. Clear golden. Pleasant fruity hops aroma with a vegetal chili note. Flavor has fruity hops and a huge vegetal hot chili attack on the palate. Medium-bodied. Undrinkable. Scopey (14699) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2011
Cask at GBBF 2011. It pours golden yellow, with a thin white head. The nose is habanero chili pepper, pine and sweet resin. The taste is like chomping down on a habanero. Lots of pepper warmth that make eyes water. This is a one dimensional beer dominated by one flavour. Interesting nonetheless. Enjoyable to watch unsuspecting people taste this. djd07 (14469) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 17, 2014
Bottle as shown. Pours a clear orange with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong habanero, lemon, and mango. Thin mouthfeel with strong heat, spice, light citrus. Tmoney99 (14455) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 9, 2013
Tap sample. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy sour citrus hoppy and roasted pepper aroma. Moderate to heavy bittersweet and hot flavor with a moderate to heavy hot and bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid brew.
