Draft. Pours black with tall thin creme colored head. Mild chocolate coffee aroma over light carbonation. Taste of coconut, and peppers over very mild coffee flavor. Very different and tasty.

Large sample pour, darker with a light khaki head. Nose is loads of coconut and curry, some roast, but mostly Indian connotations. Flavors follow with much more noticeable spice. It’s not terrible and it’s different, but it’s not a top ten for me.. asceticbrewer (69) - Arizona, USA - MAR 4, 2015
22oz bottled on July 1, 2013. Poured into BP tulip. Pours a deep brown with a chocolate colored head. Aroma is cumin, curry powder, toasted coconut, and a slight coffee roastyness. Taste is chocolaty, coconut, with a slightly herbal spiciness. As it warms up, lime bitterness egins to become more present. Mouthfeel is smooth, and very porter-esque arkurzynski (2463) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 2, 2015
Black with tan head. Nose is full of floral spice, cumin, lime and coconut. Flavor is sweet spice, cumin, light coconut milk, and faint lime before fading to powdery roast, bitter chocolate and cayenne. Lingering roast and cayenne heat. Growing warmth. Not completely my thing, but can honestly say, one of the most unique beers I’ve had. Well made. solidfunk (9407) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - FEB 27, 2015
Strange but well done. Definitely tastes like chai or something along those lines. Light caramel and roast. Pours black with good head and lacing. Spicy. Tap at blind tiger.

Bottle. Black pour with a tall, frothy brown head. Smells like Indian food with a splash of lime. Just the aroma alone has me wishing I had some curry in front of me. Taste is much like the aroma except the coconut is coming through here and the spices are a touch more pronounced. There’s also a peppery warmth to this. The lime is there but more muddied. Body is medium with a moderate, bubbly carbonation. Ends with more curry, spices, lime, soft coconut and peppery notes. Rather unique and somehow it works. Bottle, pours dark brown with huge fluffy tan head, little lace. Nose is huge curry and pepper. Really smells exactly like an Indian restaurant. Taste is also curry, spice, and little sweet. Finish is spicey. Body is medium and smooth. Overall, a nice and really interesting beer. Probably not something I would seek out but, definitely well done and interesting. kerenmk (5168) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 18, 2015
Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Ariel. Black with tan head. Curry sauce and cumin and some sweet chili in the nose, and a taste that’s all Indian food with bubblegum and lots of coconut. Full body, very hot and spicy finish. WTF?!? Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Ariel. Dark brown to black with a beige head. Smells like Indian food. Roasty flavor with chocolate, Indian food and a hot finish. Medium-bodied. An interesting gimmick but not pleasant and very hard to drink. mtdewa1 (441) - rome, New York, USA - FEB 2, 2015
Aroma is curry and pepper. Taste is strong spice, pepper, curry and cinnamon. Very dry and hot taste. Not my style at all. The body of the stout was fine, just to much spice.
