I’m not picking up all the intricacies of the caynne pepper, cumin, toasted coconut, and kaffir lime leaf, but the curry is definitely front and center. Pyrmir (6197) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - SEP 12, 2014
Big bottle, big thanks Carl! Near black with tan head. Aroma very peculiar, curry, ginger, cardamom and various spice. Taste is similar, very spice driven, some chilies, roasted malt and bread. Unique beer Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - SEP 14, 2014
Serving: 22 oz. bottle. It pours dark brown with a thick and resliliant tan head. The nose smells like a mix of roasted malt and coconut curry. The flavor highlights the curry from start to finish. Light bits of coconut, a roasted malt, lactose sweetness, and a very light spicy warmness. Medium to full body with a lingering curry finish. Interesting and well brewed, but not one I want more than a half a pint of. wedgie9 (2702) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 22, 2014

From notes. Tasted on 6/30/12 at the 1st Annual Chimipalooza, from bottle. Pours clear dark amber brown with an average beige head that leaves a thin collar. The nose is lime, cardamom, and coconut with just a bit of traditional caramel malt, really smells a lot like a Thai curry dish. The flavor is has a bit of sweet molasses up front, moving to the coconut and curry with a nice cardamom bitter note and some chili pepper spice on the back. The body is full with average carbonation and a long spicy coconut finish. Very unique and well-executed beer.
Bomber. Aroma is tikka masala with notes of curry, cumin, cayenne and some coconut. Pours black with a thin light brown head and some lacing. Starts with light roasted flavor and the tikka masala with the curry, cumin and coconut. Finishes smooth but brings the cayenne heat that builds with every sip. Very unique and good, I'm glad that I split the bottle between 3 people because a whole bottle solo would be difficult.

Bottle, pours dark brown with huge fluffy tan head, little lace. Nose is huge curry and pepper. Really smells exactly like an Indian restaurant. Taste is also curry, spice, and little sweet. Finish is spicey. Body is medium and smooth. Overall, a nice and really interesting beer. Probably not something I would seek out but, definitely well done and interesting. beertholomeus (1813) - California, USA - MAR 23, 2015
Pours black with a fizzy tan head. Curry, coconut, pepper, spice and malt aroma. Chocolate, pepper, coconut, curry, lime, spice and roasted malt flavors. Medium full body and moderate carbonation. Pepper, chocolate and coconut finish. That1Guy (2237) - Colorado, USA - MAR 25, 2015
22 oz bomber with a 15048 date code. Pours pitch black with a surprisingly good, fluffy tan head. Wow. Never had a beer like this one before. Very spiced but not so overwhelming that I still feel like I’m drinking beer. The curry and the cumin are very apparent on the nose. Flavor is like a very balanced Indian dish. A bit of heat from the spice. Subtle and tasty. Don’t know if I want to drink this whole bomber by myself, but I made this decision and have to stick with it. Very good. peterschreurs (113) - Illinois, USA - APR 15, 2015
22 oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a medium frothy tan head that retains well and laces the glass. The aroma is huge Indian spice, perfumey curry and lime and coconut. Very interesting. The flavor is interesting as well - lots of curry powder, sweet lime and a little coconut. This was a perfect beer to drink with my favorite curry dish.

I get hints of chocolate, black licorice, and curry. A little spicy aftertaste. Good in smal sips and small quantities. Smells like cirry, cumin, cayenne.
