65 cl bottle @ home. Pours dark brown with an off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are cumin, curry, and roasted malt - with a spicy finish.

First sniff gave away it’s Indian pedigree. Taste brings in more of the stout characteristics. Chocolate on the back end, curry up front. Savory notes and heat slowly rise up. Complex flavors. Sipper for sure.

On tap @ Rattle N Hum. Quite a deep dark one this, not the best light environment where I’m at now, but this looks pretty close to black ruby. It also has a nice big lasting and quite lacing brown head. Smells really good I have to say. It’s almost milk chocolaty, I get cocoa, spices and burnt wood - the last in a mild way. Can’t put my finger on what it is about this aroma, but I really like what I’m smelling. Tastes really good also! Almost like a mocha frappuchino just better. It’s thick and oily in the mouth while it’s creamy and soft on the prickling carbonation. Milk chocolate, lots of nice rich coffee. There’s cream and ice. A lovely spiced up creation that I can definitely dig. 11.06.2015

9/24/16. On tap at Growler Country. Dark brown pour with a small khaki head. Wow, Indian spice all over the aroma - promise delivered. Same on the flavor, loads of Indian spice... I don’t hate it, actually. This works surprisingly well and I’m surprised. Not bad.

You MUST love curry to enjoy this beer. The aroma is aggressively curry. Lingering heat from the cayenne pepper. The only thing that balances the beer are the chocolate malts.

Bottle. Poured black with small off white head and good lacing. Totally smells of turmeric and Indian spice. That’s a first. Heavy spice flavor, with creamy body that works well with it. Very well thought out. One of the more unique beers I’ve had. It’s good that they are experimenting with different flavors. Good stuff .

I think this is an idea with promise, but the flavors need to be a bit more balanced. Pours a deep, cola black, with minimal head. Curry is strong in the aroma. Flavors include curry and cayenne pepper--maybe just a bit too much pepper. There’s something about this that’s a bit off, just a bit too extreme and I think it’s the pepper, though it might be the curry. I’d like this a lot more if it was balanced just a bit further.

Pours black with a medium tan head that quickly fades. The aroma is potent and intense. Its very strong in curry and pepper, along with heavy coconut, mild lime, and hints of chocolate. The taste is very dry with is a little sweet. There is an easy, mild burn to this one that doesn’t seem to end. Big curry and pepper still, and I find lots of lime now. Some lesser roasted malts, spices, coconut, ad chocolate. Minimal curry aftertaste. Its medium in body, with a slick texture, and some softer carbonation. Two reasons to try this one. First, its very different. Second, its absolutely delicious.
