Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a pure white head. Powerful chili pepper nose with notes of banana. Medium-bodied, wet mouthfeel. Smoky jalapeno flavor with a lingering capsicum burn. Fun beer. Nicely refreshing. I’m a whore for chili beers.

On tap @ Home Brew Mart: Appeared as a light lager color with not much formation of head. Aroma is strange and they only thing scent I can think to compare this beer to is to smell of cocaine. The drink is dominated by smoky jalapeno flavoring that is funky and different while also having a nice bill of grains to boost this beer through.

liked this better than the regular smokescreen. Peppers all over, blends well with the smoke and it’s very spicy. Lots of flavor and impressive for the ABV. Good beer for spice lovers.

On draft at Livermore Saloon. It pours pale yellow with a large head. The aroma has lots of green chiles and hints of smoke. The flavor is very spicy with a big bready maltiness. Burning finish. Fun beer.

kathouse (1942) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - AUG 5, 2012
Had this on tap at Aces and Ales. Medium golden yellow with a white head. Aroma is spicy and peppery. Body is light. Jalapeno and bitterness provide plenty of bite. No sweetness can cool this off, but it’s not so spicy that it can’t be enjoyed. I like Jalapenos and the flavor is good in beer. Just need some more malt support.

A good spicy treat. Not too heavy on the heat. The smell is all pepper but the flavor lends some smokiness and helles to the mix.
