Picked up single 12-oz bottle from Heritage Liquors in Maplewood, MN. Pours a clear golden straw colored brew with an average sized off-white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of bright golden grain malt, a hint of dry pear esters and some grassy hops. Taste is light bodied with flavors of golden grain malt, some pear, low calorie white bread and a touch of grassy hops. Finish is light, crisp with a short lived spice spiced hop aftertaste followed by a clean cut finish. A great summer hot day refresher helles.

355 ml (12 fl.oz.) bottle. Clear, pale yellow, medium white head, low carbonation. Aroma is grainy, with some hay and grass to the nose. Mouthfeel is smooth, well carbonated with a long aftertaste. Flavour is refreshing pale lager all the way. I could easily have several of these around a bbq camp-fire with tasty food and good friends in a summer night.

On tap at 40 brews. It poured a clear golden color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus, some grass and grains. The taste was similar to the aroma with more citrus, grass, hops, bitterness, some malts and a little sweetness. Not too bad.

Bottle. It pours a straw colored body under a small, white head. The aroma is lightly grassy and hayish, with some yellow apples fruityness and some piney, peppery hop notes. Its medium bodied, quite dry and nicely carbonated, with a decent bitterness lasting for a good while. Pine cones, grass, some peppery hints and a backdrop of pale malts in the flavor. Some fruityness, but towards the finish its more like pine cones. A tasteful and quenching lager that would do good on any summer day. 160805
