A classic German-Style Beer, Brewed in San Diego. Our Longfin Lager has become one of the go-to beers with the team at the brewery. A solidly balanced Helles inspired Lager with a clean, slightly hoppy finish that could easily fit in at any German beer garden. We think its perfect for enjoying on the beach, the boat or anywhere else you can put an ice chest full of beer.

Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Smells grainy and slightly sweet. Taste is sweet, grain, hints of yeast and hops, as Helles is supposed to be. Light-bodied with a smooth texture and average mouth-carbonation, Ballast Point Longfin Lager finishes with a subtle lingering sweetness.

Can. A- Grains, cornbread. A- Yellow color, clear liquid, white head. T- Cornbread, sweet grains, honey. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- Far from a favorite style of mine but a solid beer. I actually liked it more as it warmed. It became sweeter and the corn came through more and not in a nasty way. It was almost like a cornbread drizzled with honey. Pretty decent.

Draught at Phils BBQ, San Diego Airport. Pours clear and lightly sparkling yellow with a small, tight-bubbled white head, short retention leaving a patchy film and spotty lacing. Aroma is lightly sweet and corny and grainy Pils malt, light spicy Noble hops and a clean lager character. Flavor is lightly sweet and crisp grainy and corny Pils malt, medium-light spicy and earthy Noble hops and bitterness, well balanced but the malt ultimately prevails, clean with a dry finish. Light body, moderate carbonation with a light carbonic bite, no warmth, creaminess or astringency. This is a crisp and refreshing lager, perfect for cooling off an a hot day.

Another summer day is reason enough for another German-inspired Ballast Point brew. Yellow pour with several fingers of bubbly foam. Pleasant cereal grain aromas. Clean, bicuity malt body with a delicate flowery hop end note. Medium-lively carbonation. Pretty nice.

A light golden beer with a thin white head.. The aroma is sweet with notes of Halletaur hops. The flavor is sweet with light notes of grass, leading to a dry and rather bitter finish
