A classic German-Style Beer, Brewed in San Diego. Our Longfin Lager has become one of the go-to beers with the team at the brewery. A solidly balanced Helles inspired Lager with a clean, slightly hoppy finish that could easily fit in at any German beer garden. We think it’s perfect for enjoying on the beach, the boat or anywhere else you can put an ice chest full of beer.

Panzerfaust (859) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - MAR 14, 2016
355ml bottle from Club de Cervezas. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head that diminishes quickly and leaves a small lacing. Aroma is weakly malty with almost no hop presence. Vaguely bready and grainy, weak, neutral with some evanescent floral hints. Not offensive, but really dull. Taste is quite watery and neutral as well. Almost no bitterness, bready and grainy. Dull. Inoffensive. Light bodied, mid-high carbonation. Refreshing and crisp. I really do not feel tempted to give this one higher scores. A great brewery making a dull beer where there’s nothing to appreciate really. It’s not just a style problem, since Schlenkerla Helles is a wonderful rendition of it.

On tap. Bready aroma. Clear yellow pour with little head. Taste is not bad, disappointing at first but ends a bit bold. Sweet finish as well. Light bodied with ok carbonation. Overall, glad I tried it but probably not worth getting again.

Poured in the wrong glass at the bar so not much head but nice Pilsner malt aroma...bready with a hint of floral noble hops. Very well balanced and a nice mouthfeel. I like this beer a lot ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear yellow with a fizzy white head with little lacing. Aroma of sweet malt and grain with very mild noble hops. Taste has some honey sweetness with a husky graininess and mild hop flavor and a bit of light fruitiness. Light bodied with low carbonation. Average lager.

Rating #1600 - 28.03.2015 - Bottle from Palm Liquor in San Diego. Bold golden pour with a thick, white foam, decent retention. Aroma is strong malty sweetness, caramel, ripe fleshy fruits. Taste is lightly hopped, rather dry but quite impressive. Crisp, refreshing, and smooth tasting.

Light yellow body with thin white head a virtually no carbonation. Aroma is faint, almost doughy. Taste is sweet, but overly. Some hops, and watery. Not bad, not that impressive either.

Pours pale pale yellow with a minimal white head. Aroma is mild grains and corn syrup. Taste really isn’t bad for this lagered beer. Initially this has some mild hoppy bitterness, the sweetness follows and then, for the finish, pleasant grains creep in and take over the palate.
