Bottle at GBBF 2013 and drunk at home. Clear pale gold lasting white head. No doubt cardboard on aroma. Some ok lemon in mouth but more cardboard on the finish. Yes more lemony and hoppy than most pale lagers but still the cardboard is not great.

Bottle. It pours a straw colored body under a small, white head. The aroma is lightly grassy and hayish, with some yellow apples fruityness and some piney, peppery hop notes. Its medium bodied, quite dry and nicely carbonated, with a decent bitterness lasting for a good while. Pine cones, grass, some peppery hints and a backdrop of pale malts in the flavor. Some fruityness, but towards the finish its more like pine cones. A tasteful and quenching lager that would do good on any summer day. 160805
