A classic German-Style Beer, Brewed in San Diego. Our Longfin Lager has become one of the go-to beers with the team at the brewery. A solidly balanced Helles inspired Lager with a clean, slightly hoppy finish that could easily fit in at any German beer garden. We think it’s perfect for enjoying on the beach, the boat or anywhere else you can put an ice chest full of beer.

Bottle from Sam’s in Durham. Nothing offensive here, but nothing great either. Pours slightly hazy bright gold--a good looking beer--but tastes just slightly better than your average lager.

12floz can, no date (not clear what codes mean), $1.75 unit cost, tulip glass. Quickie dickie review: Golden color, white air pocketed head, smells like pencil shavings and lemon juice, American influenced taste with fleeting citrus fruitiness before descending to grainville, body is light, drinkable - yes, special - no. This would work well as a summer beer, and if fresh, because I'm pretty certain this isn't.

Aroma of biscuits, crisp malt and straw. Taste has a white bready character with a rather mild hop profile and slight corn. Standard lager one might say, only a tad better. Decent.

I love this brewery, and this lager is true to their character. Easy drinking, nothing you wouldnt expect for a lager. Well made, pale straw in colour, lasting head. Good choice!

12 oz can. Pours golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy, white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of grassy hops and biscuit malt. Body is medium and smooth. Taste is similar to aroma. Finish is short and semi-dry. Good brew.

I poured it from the can into a pint glass. It pours golden with a fluffy, white head. The aroma is fruit and grain. The taste is fruit, biscuit, and tea. This is a nice, easy-drinking beer. There's a lingering tartness to it. I could do a few of these.

Draught at the taproom in Little Italy, San Diego. Clear golden coloured with a small white head. Malty aroma of hay, grass and hops. Malty flavour of hops, grass and berries. Hoppy finish.

At Buttonwood with Dan and Joe. The aroma is sweet with notes of Halletaur hops. The flavor is sweet with light notes of grass, leading to a dry finish. Helped my swing the next few holes.

From a 12 oz. can. Pours a clear pale gold with a big white head. Aromas of sourdough bread. Light sweet and light bitter flavors along with a light body..

Can. Aroma of pale malt and some citrus. Fresh taste of pale malt, citrus hops and some hop bite. Very thirst quenching, nice on a hot day. Good lager!

This is a relatively run of the mill lager, and it’s too sweet for me. It pours yellow with a little foam. The aroma is standard lager. Hay, sugar, a little vanilla, a little bit of grassy hops. The flavor is like the aroma, but the finish is sweet enough for this beer to wear out it’s welcome with me pretty quickly.
