COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This new IPA rises above the rest. We’ve developed many IPA recipes in our R&D program, but right from the tank, our Manta Ray Double IPA was a winner. Aromas of fresh, citrusy tangerine, melon and light pine leap from the beer and linger over a smooth finish. Like its namesake, this brew can sneak up on you – a big beer without a bite.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2017 Dark orange, hazy. Aroma fruity, with lots of citrus. Taste very well balanced with more fruit, malt, sweetness and bitterness that dominates at the end. An exellent classical west coast ipa, towards the imperial style. Ballast Point can be trusted....

The aroma is off the charts amazing, everything else doesn't match up. Malt is tasty but thin. Bitterness hits then comes back around but you don't necessarily want it to. Aka lingering after taste goes on past he great hops

Bottle from Craftissimo at home after Clockenflap 2017. Clear golden yellow pour with dense white foam head. Aroma is tangerine, pineapple, dank hops. Crisp malt. Taste is dank pine and citrus hops with sweet cereal malt. Smooth palate. Sharp bitterness. Better than expected. Pretty good would probably get again.
