tap - Pours dark amber and smells of caramel malt and alcohol. The flavor is sweet and boozy with caramel and a touch of dark fruit. It’s a decent beer though I thought it could use something more.

On tap at Thirsty Moose Taphouse. Ruby brown put with finger of off white foam. Very pretty. Aroma is of caramel, Malt, and booze. Flavor is similar, more alcohol comes through than expected. Finish is slightly astringent, a little disappointing. JDBaker11058 (2450) - Maryland, USA - FEB 6, 2016
appearance: clear medium-dark brown, no head, no lacing; looks pretty flat. aroma: raisin, toffee, caramel and graham cracker. taste: sweet caramel, toffee, and raisin, light toasted malts. finish: a bit of dark toast and just a hint of booze. notes: Feels almost like a scotch ale. Big and sweet, but the body wasn’t too heavy. Draft at Quench in Silver Spring, Maryland.
