COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made with only six ingredients. Malted 2-row barley, palisade hops, orange blossom honey, White Labs California Ale Yeast, apricots and San Diego carbon filtered tap water. Low bitterness is balanced by tart apricots with a sweet but not cloying finish. Barmy Ale can be aged up to eight years with a strong honey wine character emerging if cellared. Be careful not to be the barmiest of them all.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2017 sweet nose and rich with ripe fruits and some hops on the top. Taste a little oily and very fruity. Apricots are definitely there. Palate is medium with fruit sweetness and also some welcome hops. Delicate.

Clear, blonde, not much head. Tangy aroma, a little floral. Just strong, sweet and boozy. Reminds me of a Soviet Bloc strong lager. Thick body. On tap, Momos.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy dark gold color with a two-finger cap of off-white foam that settles to a film leaving some lacing. Aroma is sweet: honey seems to be the strongest but there is some fruit in the background, reminds me of mead. Medium-full body. Flavor is sweet with the honey and fruit added, almost too sweet, but drinkable. Finish is sweet and a little tart. Can’t have more than one at a time, but interesting nonetheless.
