COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made with only six ingredients. Malted 2-row barley, palisade hops, orange blossom honey, White Labs California Ale Yeast, apricots and San Diego carbon filtered tap water. Low bitterness is balanced by tart apricots with a sweet but not cloying finish. Barmy Ale can be aged up to eight years with a strong honey wine character emerging if cellared. Be careful not to be the barmiest of them all.

Hoooly moly. This supposed to be 10.7? No way. This an odd mix of fruit forward to medicinal. Medium bodied. Crisp. This thing is dangerous.

Tap at three kings in the loop Pours bright orange hue with a small soapy white head and sparse lacing. Nose is wierd. Lots of apricot almost Belgian character and big alcohol. Flavors exhibit big apricots dry pale grains and quite a bit of alcohol heat. Like a dry tequila and beer. Interesting and decent.

Pours a sharp and clean gold with one finger of soft white head. Nose shows bright honey and some peachy notes.Warming alcohol and big round honey notes in the flavor. Honey is a bit too forward for me to enjoy. Super singular and kind of cloying. Medium body with a warming finish and a touch of a bite.

bottle. Golden with small head. Way overdone. Syrupy honey and apricot, moderate sweetness. Basically a boozy mess. This is Mad Dog 20/20 in beer form.

Pours clear amber with a nice pale buff head. Aroma delivers apricot, fresh malt and honey tones accompanied by a strong alcohol bite. Flavor features fruity, alcohol and malty notes, the fruit character including banana and tropical fruit notes. Alcohol bite nicely balance the honey and fruit sweetness. Mouthfeel has firm body and some good fizz. Get barmy - but not too barmy!

Clear dark golden pour with small cream colored head. Aroma of honey, caramel, toffee, yeast, hops and faint apricots. Taste of honey, yeast, faint apricots, caramel, toffee, faint hops hidden by the sweetness. Full bodied, creamy mouthfeel, alcohol burn on the finish, slightly cloying.

Pours a clear pale gold with a creme coloured head. On the nose, LOTS of honey up front, with chamomile, light vanilla, and faint resinous notes. Definitely has a unique thing going on with the aroma. Taste wise, well, a little one sided. Very sweet with honey, a light floral note, apricot as it warms up, some serious alcohol burn, faint woody notes and a very light hit of resinous hops that leads into more of the same with very light mineral bitterness, light malt notes, and some spice in a finish that is largely honey. Its interesting, but for me, its a "try it once" kind of a beer.

No aroma. Huge head with excellent lacing. Definite apricot flavoring, but more of the apricot pit than the apricot fruit. I had high hopes for this beer, as Im a huge fan of apricots, and liked the idea of orange blossom honey mixed with apricots. It didnt turn out how I would expected it to taste, though.
