Kudos for getting any other flavor into this West Coast IPA. Pineapple provides a nice aroma, with just enough taste as well, to complement this beer. I'm not an IPA guy, this was alright.

On tap at New Bohemia with commonshawn. 10oz pour. Lighter orange with a slight haze. Minimal head. Aroma features citrus and tropical fruits and they are assertive. Taste is pineapple as advertised. I appreciate that there was no deception. Bitterness towards the end like a grapefruit rind. Sweetness prevalent early on due to pineapple presence. I actually think the pineapple does work as an enhancement but with more sips it kind of moves towards overbearing. If you're a pineapple and sculpin fan, this one will be right up your alley. nihtila (3913) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 26, 2017
On tap at Ballast Point Little Italy. Clear amber. Nose is big pineapple, citrus, pine, caramel. Tastes bittersweet, pineapple, caramel, resin. Tasty. beern (205) - Alabama, USA - SEP 22, 2017
Pours golden and mostly translucent with a 1-finger white head and an aroma of pineapple. Tastes of grapefruit, bitter pine and lemon with a long lemon finish. It's medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Pours a clear amber with a soapy dishwater head that leaves soapy lacing. The nose is purely of pineapple juice. Malty backbone flavors intermingle with a pineapple juice/syrup, lending a very tropical, juicy mouthfeel that is full-bodied, substantial, and integrates the citric and well-hopped pine finish perfectly. This is truly an outstanding IPA with a Northeastern tropical feel. Great take on the Sculpin! atemp (6) - - SEP 15, 2017 does not count
7% hopped up (70 ibu) pineapple IPA. Can't taste a drop of pineapple! Very hoppy. That's about all I taste. This is not for me!

Can. Awesome. Sweetness of the pineapple perfectly balances the hoppiness bitter from the Sculpin. Such a great hot weather beer.

a nice hoppy ipa that is full flavored and bodied. tropical fruit flavors it is a purely sweetish brew with a distinctly real beer quality. sudsy dishwater and heavier bodied it is refreshing and one can sense a malt backbone. slick syrup and not perceptibly dry a well put together and well what one would like A PINEAPPLE INDIA PALE ALE.
