Pours ruby with a medium tan head. Aroma has lots of bourbon...roasty/peaty malts. Flavor is lightly fruity...slight peaty notes...bourbon is subdued...mild vanilla. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is fruity/bourbony with light vanilla. JorisPPattyn (9982) - Ursel, BELGIUM - MAY 10, 2012
Draught Chestnut coloured beer with no head. Rummy nose, sweet malts abound. Superb Bourbon or Rum figures with sweet vanilla and strawberry flavours. Bit sticky MF, thick bodied. Great taste, but it does stick a bit! Lagunitasfan (1323) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 23, 2010
On cask at O’brien’s as well. Rich deep malt colored. Nose and mouth is sweet and malt. Clear palate finish. Suprisingly drinkable and smooth. The richness of the bourbon is there, but not overpoweringly so. Light on bourbon. Nice. WeeHeavySD (3387) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 22, 2010
