COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Impossibly reddish in color (due to the beets) with nitro cascade fading into a pink cap of stable foam, great clarity. Seeing the beer in the glass shows the obvious resemblance to a slice of red velvet cake (red cake on the bottom topped with a layer of creamy white frosting). But the similarities dont end there. The aroma is dominated by chocolate with earthy notes of beets and subtle wafts of roast coco. The flavor is similar to the aroma but with faint roast and hop bitterness coming in at the end balance it out, not cloying or overly sweet. The mouthfeel is medium and the finish is luxuriously smooth. Its dessert served in a pint glass!

12oz bottle. Pours a clear red with almost no head. Bummer! I clearly must have gotten a bad bottle because the expected huge frothy head was nowhere. And I was expecting a stout not a thin cranberry juice looking liquid. As for taste, nothing special though it is a unique taste of beets and chocolate. Swing and a miss.

Aroma is red velvet cake, malts and chocolate. The flavor is red velvet cake, malts, the nitro does mimic frosting and a mild chocolate mixed with acidic/tart in the finish.

Bottle served in a glass, this beer was a hazy red in the glass, the pour gave almost a one finger white / faint off-white cover of bubbles that had a hint of pink-red to them, there was nice spots and partial rings of lacing on the glass, this drink had aromas of light chocolate, cereal, some cake notes or cake like notes, probably the oatmeal, light citrus hops, I was not sure if I noticed the beet or not, sugar and oatmeal sweetness, the flavors were light oats, cereal, chocolate, grain sweetness, beet was in the background, the finish had a light hop bitterness, the mouth feel was light medium, it was creamy and smooth on the tongue, carbonation was average, I did not consider this beer a dessert drink but it was nice.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Wauwatosa. Clear ruby (BEET JUICE!!!), large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of sweet oats, honey, toast and a bit of cherry juice. The taste is oats, nuts, honey, grain, cherries, citrus, hints of spice. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Nice!

This was a great beer! Aroma was a little weak. Hints of chocolate and vanilla but very thin. Pour was one of the most beautiful beers Ive ever laid my eyes on. Deep dark fire engine red with a puffy two finger off white/light pink head. A pour so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. Taste was light, complex and delicious. It tasted like a light airy bite of red velvet cake. White chocolate and cake batter with a light vanilla finish. Great flavor for such a low ABV. Very light NO2 carbonation. Love it

Appearance: Bright Rose liquid. Slightly hazy. Nitro like layer of creamy foam. Nose: vanilla, red fruit, touch chocolate a bit of lightly roasted malt Taste: somewhat sweet with aspects of vanilla and red berries. Lighter chocolate aspects, like white chocolate Body: lighter and non descript Parting thoughts: A very different beer. Not at all what I was expecting. The color is striking. The flavor, or lack of flavor, is striking as well.

330ml Bottle. Pours a pinkish red. The beer is exactly what it says it should be, a red velvet beer. The flavour is very weak though. Interesting concept.
