Tap, orange pour, white head, nose is citrus, taste is coffee, tap at blue palms brew house
Sample at the Ballast Point tasting room in Temecula. The beer pours a clear dark amber color with a medium thin bone white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Coffee, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of roast coffee, citrusy hops and malt. The finish is hoppy up front with a coffee aftertaste. Pretty good overall. deaconmike (470) - Roswell, Georgia, USA - AUG 8, 2016
On tap at ballast point little Italy. Very much like the original sculpin. Unlike some of the other varieties of sculpin, the flavor add is fairly subdued. Very nice. swesson (478) - Highlands Ranch, Colorado, USA - NOV 17, 2015
On tap at the Ballast Point Brewery! Pours a dark Amber and makes a small head with lacing down the tulip glass. Smells of hops and espresso. Tastes like aromatic mountain coffee and citrus and hops and goodness! Love this beer.

Draft. This was advertised as just normal "coffee" Sculpin. Pours golden orange with a white head. Mild coffee, fruity hops, and relatively light bitterness. Pretty well balanced throughout, with mild lingering coffee sweetness. Decent. toxichop (598) - South Gate, California, USA - JUN 27, 2015
Straight up coffee that hides those aggressive hops. But they show up in the end providing a piney finish. Tasty overall. Its almost like one of those golden stouts. skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Pours a slighty darker color of normal Sculpin with a small off whir head. Aroma is of fruity coffee, citrus, tropical fruits, and some light sweet malts. Taste is of Ethopian coffee, citrus, some tropical fruits, and sweet malts. Has a medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and semi dry, not quit as hoppy as regular Sculpin finish. Overall, a very unique version of Sulpin that makes good use of coffee.
