Our Grapefruit Sculpin is the latest take on our signature IPA. Some may say there are few ways to improve Sculpin’s unique flavor, but the tart freshness of grapefruit perfectly complements our IPA’s citrusy hop character. Grapefruit’s a winter fruit, but this easy-drinking ale tastes like summer.

Thanks to my dad who imported this into Canada. Pours a cloudy golden orange, with a beautiful large white head. Very carbonated. Smells of mainly grapefruit, with a bit of orange too. Tastes of grapefruit mainly, bitter and dry hoppy finish. Lovely beer, wish I could buy this in Canada!!!

Prefer the original sculpin, but an interesting take. Quite a prominent grapefruit aroma and taste and a lingering bitter aftertaste. Some biscuity maltiness and golden orange marmalade, pith, peel and all

Has a grapefruit nose like a freshly sliced grapefruit. Unlike most IPA's, the smell continues as the beer glass is emptied. Clear golden hue with a fine white foam head that changes to lacey; Has a lively, but smooth carbonation. Prominent grapefruit taste with a bitterness that balances the sweet/bitter ratio well. Finishes with a very slight astringent bitterness retaining the grapefruit taste. If there is any knock on this beer, it would be the astringent bitterness in the finish.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - Pours a hazy orange with a decent head. Wonderful grapefruit aroma upfront as well as other citrus aromas. Nice mouthfeel with IPA flavors finishing with bitter grapefruit.

Can from a Trader Joes. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, white, head and moderate carbonation. Big citrus hop character, complemented by some sharp grapefruit juice, crisp, biscuity, malts and a touch of green herb. The finish was long and pleasantly dry. Excellent.
