Softer hops than regular Sculpin, and the mango is also less intense than the grapefruit bottled version. Hops and fruit play off each other well, again with a soft bittersweet flavor loaded with mango and other tropical fruits and a touch of dank. Likely would score this even higher if I had it again.
Pours a chill hazed golden orange on tap with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma and taste of tropical fruit notes, mango and passionfruit, resinous hop notes, caramel malt, a bit of bubble gum sweetness. Almost as good as the grapefruit, but not quite. blipp (9790) - La Mesa, California, USA - NOV 15, 2015
Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Juicy tropical hops, mango, and just enough hoppy bitterness to cut through the fruit. This is pretty dope. rlgk (18844) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 7, 2015
Draught at Toronado, North Park, San Diego. Clear golden beer with a nice offwhite head. Hoppy mango aroma, caramel, citrus, grapes, raisins, some peach and passion fruit. Hoppy mango and caramel flavor, grapes, citrus, pear notes, peach, some passion fruit. Good but not as the pine apple-version. obguthr (6738) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - AUG 30, 2015
Cask: Mango and grapefruit nose. Cloudy amber, thin head. Dull grapefruit flavor, not sharp. Full body, soft carbonation. I’m very fortuante to have had the opportunity to try this, but in the end, I like Grapefruit Sculpin better. Blairgus (4615) - California, USA - AUG 20, 2015
20 August 2015, tap. Pink/light orange. Nose is grapefruit citrus. Med body and moderately fizzy. Nice. Orange,
