Overall, a decent IPA with a nice piney and malty balance but very drying, somewhat can burn you out. Reid (2673) - Salem, Oregon, USA - OCT 20, 2013
Ok its about time i rated this wonder!
12oz single bought from "Lifesource" in Salem.
Its an attractive pour..orange clear with a lovely half inch off white frothy head.
Aroma is very hop forward, green onion, lemon zest and resin...some buried nuttiness from the malts.
Taste is similar to nose but without the onion..spicy,hoppy,resin and grapefruit again malts an after thought.
Mouth feel is certainly OK..rather flabby finish though.
OK beer but not living up to the hype IMO. want1DIPA (227) - - OCT 20, 2013
On draft at Ballast Point. My 100 on rate beer and reasonably so! The best IPA out there! Insane hoppy aroma with a pungent, piney palate. One of the GOATs! Strife21 (338) - North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 20, 2013
Pours Amber hazy color with a white thin head
Smell of citrus, pine, mango, grapefruit
Bitter with a smooth mouthfeel. Tastes of strong citrus and pine. Hints of mango and grapefruit.
Pretty awesome IPA. hotstuff (5279) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 19, 2013
Rated on 10-19-2013 (Bottle) When poured, this beer has a medium frothy white head with good retention, golden transparent body, spotty amounts of lacing, very fizzy and fast rising carbonation. The Aroma is mildly hoppy, citrus, lemon, bitter, sweet, peach, and mango. The Taste is bitter, hoppy, citrus, lemon, peach, and mango. The Palate is smooth and this is a medium bodied beer. Overall, this beer is quaffable and worth trying with a lingering bitter aftertaste. I did not enjoy the mango flavor and based on that note, this is a beer that I have no interest in drinking again.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized brown colored bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a strong bubbly carbonation light orange brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The weak aroma was hoppy. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow hoppy aftertaste. The semi-sharp flavor contained notes of mild citrus mild caramel and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again. ImperialStefan (22) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - OCT 19, 2013

From a 12-oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden. Citrusy malt aroma. Grapefruit and faint flora aroma. Three-inch head dissipates to a quarter-inch white head. Citrusy flavors, with pine and herbs. Hint of grapefruit at finish. Clean and crisp mouthfeel. Drinks like a pale ale with a burst of herbal, pine and citrus flavors. Very nice IPA. holdan (260) - USA - OCT 18, 2013
