Pours a clear golden with a creamy, white head that sticks and leaves good lacing. Aromas of grapefruit, citrus, and piney hops. Solid malt backbone with medium bitterness. Light bodied with a decent length bitter finish. Solid, but not one of the best. sitzds (318) - - JUL 21, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 15, 2015 From 22oz bomber with best by date of 8/25/20. Grapefruit and licorice aromas. Creamy head with good lacing. Citrusy start with bitter hop finish. jake65 (4003) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - JUL 20, 2013
Bottle: Dull copper color with a smallish sandy head. Decent bits of sticky lacing. The aroma immediately wins me over; fresh citrus and pine, the sense that a hop assault is lurking. The flavors are strong, citrus, florals, and very light pine. Nicely balanced and it really drinks quite smooth. Fine stuff. Thanks Jeremy! Berard (639) - Salem, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 19, 2013
Bottle. Pours golden yellow with white head that dissipates. Piney hop aroma. Nice hop flavor that isn't too overwhelming or boozy.

Light brown/golden pour with half inch of white head. Aroma of bright lemon and orange citrus hops and zest, mellow yeast and some powdery floral hops too. Higher than average carbonation, slightly numbing, oily but thin mouthfeel. Sour on finish. Taste is robust and well blended between malt and hops but a bit on the bitter side. Serious carmel taste from malt and floral and pine hops. The blend causes a complex melon and/or apricot complexity. Good IPA but a bit overpriced to me, not exactly sure what the fuss is about.

Very hoppy but yet perfectly balanced. Fresh hoppy citrus aroma and taste without becoming too dry. ccex (1371) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 17, 2013
12 oz bottle pours a hazy orange with small off-white head and some lacing. Aroma made me say WOW: lots of apricot, pine, citrus and floral hops. Taste is bitter with some roasted malts coming out near the end, but with a bitter finish. Body is medium with a crisp mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. This is the most memorable IPA I’ve tried in many months. Looking forward to the next one. PhilJackson80 (531) - Oklahoma, USA - JUL 15, 2013
UPDATED: APR 20, 2014 Great Beer. It had a very strong hop aroma. Tasted great with a very strong floral aroma. demondeacon09 (68) - Tennessee, USA - JUL 14, 2013
12 oz bottle poured into short wine glass. Light orange color with a small head that dissipates quickly. Enticing aroma of citrus apricots and zest with a hint of pine. Tastes great- orange, and hoppy citrus burst out of this one. Yum
An IPA that deserves its high rating

Light hazy amber, off-white head, thick lacing.
Fruity, tropical with peach, toffee, caramel, citrus, very drinkable.
Very nice stuff, but can’t help but think about how this would be fresh on tap.
