UPDATED: DEC 30, 2012 Drank in shorter pilsner glass from 22 oz bottle at home. Aroma- very nice hoppy smell with notes of cirus. Appearance- golden orange color with very light head. Carbonated. Taste- very smooth and hoppy with a citrsu twist. Excellent! Palate- clean hoppy mouthfeel. Once again with just a hint of citrus. Overall- one of best ipas i have ever had. Clean and drinkable but still substantial hoppiness Sarlacc83 (2437) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 9, 2012
12oz bottle from Shane. Thanks!
Drunk on 10-12-12, reviewed from notes
A: Golden-copper yellow. Great white head lasts for the duration of the beer.
N: Oh Lord in Heaven. Pineapple, mango, citrus, mandarin orange. This is like walking around a fruit stand. Some pine. This nose goes on forever.
T: As fruity as the nose is, the body is equally piney and earthy. Very, very bitter and dry. A little pineapple, but this is an overwhelming spruce bomb. Some bready/biscuity notes and malt. Quite the dichotomy.
M: Palate is dry to the point where it’s like a hop covered with spikes and razors. Fair amount of alcohol.
O: The epitome of the West Coast IPA. Dry, scraping, and lacking in most of the malt needed to balance out the hops. If only the dry hopping lasted throughout the body, this might be my first perfect 5.

Excellent choice. Color is amber and slightly cloudy. Hoppy start and finish. Please try one. tmohr (41) - Illinois, USA - NOV 6, 2012
Draft at Hopping Pig, San Diego. Food pairing with braised bratwurst. Piney hoppy aroma, pleasantly bitter but not overwhelming. Good.

Pours a hazy orange with a thin sticky foam. Smells like apricot, hay, and pine. Nice spicy hop flavor with some malt and light fruit. Finish is dry and refreshing. One of the best IPA’s.

Pours a hazy golden orange with good off-white head and moderate lacing. Aromas of citrus and piney hops, sweet maltiness, and slight lemongrass qualities. Taste is piney resins, citrus hops, bittersweet finish. Great IPA, hopefully I can find it again. snavelz (3) - Aliso Viejo, California, USA - NOV 4, 2012 does not count
Fantastic beer. Just the right amount of hops that lingers in your mouth ninutes after taking a sip. Very easy drinkability, light yet hoppy, not filling and with notes of orange and grapefruit. Even a non-IPA lover would love this beer. EinStein (52) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - OCT 30, 2012
Had at Brewzilla during Cleveland Beer Week. Floral and citrus notes, just the right amount of bitterness. Finished nicely, very solid IPA. dojken (678) - SWEDEN - OCT 29, 2012
Wow. What a tasty beer. Very complex hop character. Grapefruit an lemon with a light malt backbone. This one leaves a good taste in the mouth. Would drink again.
