UPDATED: OCT 4, 2013 Pours golden orange color with nice lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine hops. Taste reminds me more of a double IPA than just an IPA. Big bold taste with big mouthful. Tons of piney hops and alcohol with a bitter spicy bite at the end. bluejacket74 (1991) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - MAR 23, 2012
12 ounce bottle, stamp on bottle says best by 070612. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy golden/orange color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is mostly pine and citrusy (mango, grapefruit) hops, along with some caramel malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, it tastes like pine, citrusy (mango, grapefruit, lemon peel) and spicy hops, and some bready malt. There’s a nice lingering bitter/fruity finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a little bit slick and has good carbonation. This is a very good brew. But at $14.99 a 6-pack here in Ohio, I can get either Columbus IPA or White Rajah at a much better price. With that being said, Sculpin is definitely worth trying, I wouldn’t turn one down! cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - MAR 21, 2012
22oz bomber thanks to csteele2144, thanks Chris! Pours a clear bright orange with a thick white head and lacing through out the glass, aroma has a nice floral touch with some pineapple and grapefruit as well, the flavor has a fruity front end with a nice bitter pine finish, awesome mouthfeel, very light and enjoyable at the same time, awesome stuff StPeteBeerMan (52) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - MAR 20, 2012
Good citrus and spice hop balance. Heavy body and excellent mouth feel. Good piney aftertaste. EastBayPints (20) - California, USA - MAR 19, 2012
Aroma: This is a colorful beer with instantly recognizable aromas. Nice bouquet. Fuzzy winter peach up front. Bright Citrus, grapefruit, pineapple and mango is hushed by slight floral and pine hops. Piney hops are very aromatic and green.
Appearance: Creamy cake icing head with big bubbles nice lacing and retention. Brilliant golden to light copper color. Clear and nice natural carbonation.
Taste: Nice balance between sweet roasted caramel malts and delicate citric and pine hops. Not overly bitter.
Alcohol is hidden behind a nice complex array of flavors. Hops have a slightly noble bite.
Palate: Creamy. Balanced. An easy drinking IPA. Medium bite of bitterness. Nicely refreshing.
Overall: Refreshing and balanced. Worth the few extra bucks this thing costs. A hop aroma like this is hard to come by. It also helps that this beer reminds me of a sandy beach on a warm summer day.

Aroma is a equal mix of hops, pine, citrus and fruit. The flavor is fresh grapefruit, piney hops, citrus and a hint of various different fruit. There were quite a few flavors going on but they all worked well. Ontbeertaster (2362) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 17, 2012
Bottle, pours a nice bright yellow, decent head. Aroma is quite citrusy and the flavour is very full and overall it is quite nice, interesting stuff, look forward to trying again petermethot (26) - Westfield, New Jersey, USA - MAR 17, 2012
Great IPA - had on draft at Blue Dog in PA. Not my favorite but certainly above average BigSound (196) - New York, USA - MAR 17, 2012
Nice cloudy golden amber, about an inch of head settles to a half finger, pretty good lacing.
Aroma is full of fruit and citrus. Lots of mango, pineapple, apricots, hops, grapefruit, and little honey.
Taste is pretty close to the nose. Lots of mango and hop. It is sweet, tangy, and bitter all at once.
Mouth feel is pretty bright, lots of "zing" from the carbonation. Smooth going down with some hop bitterness and a little sweetness in the body. oc4111 (119) - USA - MAR 11, 2012
22oz bomber poured into a Bruery tulip glass. Pours a clear golden color with a one and half finger head that leaves all sorts of lacing as the beer goes down. Aroma is citrus, peach and mango with a hint of piney hops. Taste is unbelievable!! This is very well balanced beer. I can see why everybody rates this beer so high. The hops are not overpowering but deliver the right amount of kick at the end.
