Pours almost pitch black with brown hues. Aroma is of rum, raisins, Breton sugar, roasted malts, and molasses. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a semi creamy mouthfeel with a semi bitter, slighty bitter, medium long finish. On tap at Bistro BA Fest poured a clear dark brown nearly black with a lingering ring of brown foam. Aromas of rum, oak, roastiness, plum and dark chocolate. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of roastiness, dark chocolate, rum, plum and oak with a smooth dry lingering fruity finish.
