Clear dark brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, burnt, chocolate, coffee notes, light raisin and prunes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 
From bottle, Papsoes blindtasting #35. Pours dark brown to black with a small chocolate brown to tan head. High carbonation mouthfeel. Sweet chocolate and mild roasted malt aroma. Light vegetable and yeasty too. Subdued sweet, light acidic and chocolate malt flavoured. Light bitter and light roasted chocolate malt flavoured finish. Quite full-bodied, hard roasted malts, vinous touches and plenty of dried fruit with an edge of licorice. A lightly malt bitter finish. Bottle shared in London - thanks to Caspar. Pours black-brown with a frothy, off-white head. The nose has sugary malts, chocolate, soft roast, dark fruits. Medium sweet flavor with raisins, bittersweet chocolate, burnt earth, torched wood. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. More bitter cocoa to finish, dried dark fruits, char, strong roast, burnt toast, some alcohol warmth. Very solid.
