Not bad, pretty good. Nice roasted flavor. A little sweet, but not overpowering. It’s 10% abv, so there is an alcohol presence, but its not over bearing,

Bomber from Albertsons. Oily black pour with a beige fluffy head, fades to skin. Aroma is straight up roasty, taste brings a little sweetness, chocolate, gentle lingering bitterness. Pretty mild for a 10% beer.. Hopmaestro (1673) - Örebro, SWEDEN - MAY 8, 2017
Aroma is full and rich from roasted malts, licorice and dark chocolates. Taste is medium sweet, but yet a slight spicey roasty cloak. The sweetness and roastiness plays well together and I would say that this is great if you’re looking for a more "standard" Imperial Stout. StevieT (2015) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 3, 2017
From a bottle. Oh damn son, this is a mighty fine drop that will sneak you on you and steal your ship.

Draft. A nice, slower down stout. Like a chocolate or oatmeal, but with a decided west-coast hopping. Smooth throughout. caramel finish. MetalNHopHead (2020) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - MAR 4, 2017
Yes, like many creatures in deep, blackened waters, Sea Monster can creep up on you. The most impressive aspect of this 10% ABV beer is how smooth it is and how well the alcohol is hidden. Ballast Point’s Stouts tend to be fairly traditional in how bitter and roasty they are, but Sea Monster prefers the surprise attack. While you do get some finishing bitterness from high-alpha American hops, the majority of the flavor profile consists of dark chocolate and coffee with just a bit of cream. Not as complex as some of the other big Stouts, but marvelously balanced and pretty tasty. Holmen1 (6028) - Stavanger, NORWAY - FEB 28, 2017
Life is indeed good.
