beer-yum (1710) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 16, 2017
Restrained cherry aroma in a rose gold pour. Tangy tart taste to start with a spicy bread body and finish. An interesting and refreshing variation on the style.

Nice mildly fruity wheat beer. A little bit of cherry with soft sour wheaty taste. Hazy light mouthfeel. Easy drinker.

Bottle: Pours a light golden color with a pink hue, lots of bubbles... foamy white head. The aroma is sweet, lots of lager malt and corn syrup... doesn’t resemble a wheat ale at all. Faint fruity tartness. Sweet malty taste with minimal wheat, some faint bits of pie cherries. Finishes OK... overall not something I’d drink again.

Tallahassee, Fl - Lucky’s Market - 12 oz bottle. Slight haze to the medium golden pour, not much of a head, Aroma has some sweet cherry accents, a bit of grainy, kids’s cereal essence - not cloying though, Flavor is sweet, some cherry fruitiness, a bit of a fruitcake sweetness, hint of bubble gum, Smooth mouthfeel.

well, here we have a Ballast Point beer that doesn’t quite pull its weight; they can’t all be zingers. It pours a reddish amber and has a fairly sour, lightly skunky and grassy smell that makes you expect some tart gose-yness. Alas, the taste is more wheat and faintly sweet, almost no sour to speak of. The pomegranate is more prominent than the barely there cherries; it goes down smoothly, but leaves little to recommend. It is one of the cheaper Ballast Point offerings and now I know why. Pretty disappointing considering they are usually one of our favorites. Good for GLOW marathons on netflix and popsicle couch time while the sweat dries up.

Bottle. Clear pink-orange-amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of wheat, flowers, and slightly tart cherry. Tastes fairly neutral with a little bit of sweet fruitiness. Light bodied with average carbonation.

ajnepple (6622) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 28, 2017
12 oz single bottle from Hy Vee Wine & Spirits - Council Bluffs (Madison Ave). Clear golden appearance with pink hues and a white head. Aroma of bread, grains, wheat and a touch of tart cherries. Similar flavor, grainy, mildly sweet and fruity with a light tartness. Light body. A little bland and simple, but clean and easy to drink overall. Crushable.

Light yeasty aroma. Has a light amber hue. starts off a bit like sweet cherry, then tart, and finishes with a yeasty wave over the tongue. its ok, but I guess I was hoping for a tart lambic beer with some depth. Its ok

ttutony (920) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 16, 2017
Slight pink hue. Slight haze. Thin white head. Light bodied overall, hint of cherry, smooth wheat flavors. Easy drinking summer beer
