Sample at the Long Beach tasting room. Clear pinkish-orange color with a thin off-white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of cherry, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of floral wheat, mild cherry and malt. The finish is fruity with a semi-tart cherry aftertaste. Decent overall.

I think this thing is just right. It’s crisp and light and very refreshing, the ABV is low, and this thing could become a favorite summertime yardwork beer for me. The color is dark pink/purple/copper colored. Somewhere on that spectrum. The aroma is appetizing. It reminds me of a light wheat ale, a cherry tart, and a little bit of lemon. That’s the flavor, too. The finish is a little more tart, a little bright, and really nice. I enjoyed every drop.

Dough, grain, malt. Pours clear pale gold with a brief thin bright white head that leaves a thin film on the top of the beer and a light line of aids on the glass. Tart. Dough. Grain. Light bodied. Easy drinking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Probably the worst ballast point I’ve had. I don’t feel like the cherry comes through.

Pretty disappointing offering from Ballast. Not enough tartness. Not sure about where the pom is. Slight skunk factor. Not much here.

Slight tartness make this beer quite interesting. Oddly a bit bitter on the nose, but not on the palate. Crystal clear for a wheat. Unique beer. Ballast point SD. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: APR 27, 2017 Nice and quaffable. Definite stone fruit flavor, mildly juicy, slightly tart, no sweetness or acidity. Good body and on the dry side for a wheat. Well executed fruit beer.

Pour on tap, clear reddish orange pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of bread, wheat, some slight berry notes into a bit of vanilla. Taste was a mix of vanilla, wheat, bread into some cherry, berry, hints of spices, finishing slightly sweet.

Clear light gold pour with a white head and poor retention. No lacing. Not much cherry flavor or tartness. Fairly acidic and bland. Meh. Disappointing.
