On tap at Ballast Point - Scripps Ranch, pours a cloudy pinkish amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out deep tart blackberry pie, light wild character and jam. Flavour is very jammy, with tart blackberry jam, some fruit pie and a bone dry pithy quality. Wonderfully constructed, with a lingering jammy character. Really nice. djd07 (15293) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 17, 2017

Decent Berlinner Weisse, thankfully on the dry side, accentuating the blackberry tartness without dipping into jelly sweetness. Finishes sour but mellow, yet the berries cling to the palate for a good long while. Leafs93 (2305) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 12, 2017

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2017 Tap. Light grain and light bread for the malt, lemon for the hops, nothing discernable for the yeast, with dark berries in the background. Head is small fizzy/frothy, lavender, with no lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is purple. Flavor starts lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and faintly bitter. Palate is light, watery with a lively carbonation and a lightly dry finish. Excellent Berliner Weiße that’s full of flavors and is super easy drinking. deyholla (11902) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 4, 2016

Draft to taster at The Pint Room. Looks solid; a transparent pale watermelon with bubbly white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells mildly tart with a nice blackberry presence up front followed by some mild wheat in the background. Tastes like it smells with a mildly tart medium light-bodied mouthfeel thst finishes clean. A solid example of the style.
