I had this sometime during RBSG in SoCal a couple-few years ago. Intense nettle-y sour on the first sip, with lingering berry skins, nettles, lemon seed, and spinach in the finish. The blackberries are wonderfully full in the middle, rich and bursting like you crushed an actual berry in your mouth after taking a sip of beer. The finish also had some kriek-ish, yeasty things going on. The smell was dominated by dark berries with a note of cherries in milk; it reminded me of Kasteel Kriek. Head is big and foamy pink, just like Todd "daSilky1", who wrote on this page of my notes, "I Love pre-pubescent girls." I didn’t notice that annotation until I got home, so I could never ask him if he was speaking for himself, or immitating me. And now we’ll never know . . .

Sampled at Boulevardia 2017. Comes a somewhat hazy reddish purple with an average off-white head. Aroma of fruit and malt. Taste is blackberries, citrus, malt, and grain. Refreshing. Dogbrick (13012) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 31, 2017
Sample at Bobs Bar during the Taste of the Coast with Maine Beer Company event on 05/17/2017. Clear dark burgundy-red color with a medium off-white head that recedes quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of tart berry, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of blackberry, herbal yeast and doughy malt. The finish is sweet-tart berries. Decent overall. On tap @ Rattle N Hum. This one’s a crystal clear blood/beet red one with a small scattered pinkish head. Smells really good and sour. Soft raspberries, blackberries, sour blackcurrants and some red currants. Really fruity and nice this aroma. Tastes really good and fruity also. It’s soft thin oily on the texture and just above average on the carbonation. Really refreshing without being too sour this. Loaded with fruity blueberries, red currants and blackberries. Mmhhh.. A lovely tartness and a hefty Berry presence. Nice! 11.06.2015 Travlr (24825) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - APR 30, 2017

Draft. Lightly sour with a clean, refreshing finish. Plenty of fruit. Only souring toward the midpalate and finish. Gentle and nicely oaked. mcberko (17840) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 11, 2017
On tap at Ballast Point - Scripps Ranch, pours a cloudy pinkish amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out deep tart blackberry pie, light wild character and jam. Flavour is very jammy, with tart blackberry jam, some fruit pie and a bone dry pithy quality. Wonderfully constructed, with a lingering jammy character. Really nice. djd07 (14517) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 17, 2017
On tap at the brewery. Pours a muddy purple with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is berry, wheat, dough. Thin body, similar flavors to nose, light tart finish, good. oobawa (1405) - Tennessee, USA - JAN 12, 2017
Decent Berlinner Weisse, thankfully on the dry side, accentuating the blackberry tartness without dipping into jelly sweetness. Finishes sour but mellow, yet the berries cling to the palate for a good long while. Leafs93 (2305) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 12, 2017
Pours ruby red with a small beige head. Aroma is earthy, blackberry and cereal. Taste is tart and lightly sweet. Light bodied, thin with light carbonation.
