Opaque, dark brown with a small tan head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of caramel, toffee, orange, citrus, bread, light fruit and, after it warms some, brown sugar.
Taste of roasted malt, pineapple, orange, peaches, toffee, citrus, booze, dried fruit, tobacco, caramel earthy hops, chocolate, red grapes and brown sugar with even more fruity and malty flavors presenting themselves as it warms.
Medium/full body and high/medium carbonization.

On tap at Public House . Pours amber with a small off white head. Aroma of malt, dried fruits, some brown sugar and some oxidized notes. Draft Pours golden amber with a white head. Mild sweet malts, some toast and bread, mild bitterness, and just a bit of booze. Balanced and relatively drinkable. Pretty good.

Draft at Tria Taproom. Very dark clear garnet pour with a fair amount of soapy beige froth. Splashes of lace. Medium-dark malts. Somewhat sweet on top but finishes mostly dry. Plums and prunes. Black grapes. Toffee. Carob. Molasses. Coffee candy. Pomegranate.

PP Strong Ale Fest 07. Cask. Pours orange with a 1 finger tan head. Nose is nice sweet and a bit of dried fruit. High alc in the taste, not much of a great taste otherwise. disappointed.
