Amber colour, steady off-white head. Bready pale malty, citrusy aroma. Medium-bodied. Quite malty, citrus, breadyness. Typical Ballast Point flavour profile. Ok.
Draft pour. Pours a mostly clear golden orange color and topped by a small off white head of foam that settles quickly to a thin film. The aroma is nice showing big notes of orange and grapefruit citrus fruit, resinous pine, and big citrus hop notes over a toasted caramel malt base. The flavor follows suit with the orange and grapefruit citrus right up front to go with some big resinous pine notes, toasted caramel malts, and a big citrus hop bitterness on the back end. Medium bodied with ample carbonation that leads to a bitter sweet citrus finish with lingering bitterness on the back end. Really nice version of Sculpin here. 355ml bottle into shaker. Looks like cloudy orange juice with a frothy white head. Laces nicely. Some floaty bits. Nose is caramel and fruity earthy hops, very nice. Full-bodied and super smooth. Finish is earthy and tangy. Alcohol is not noticeable. Brilliant IPA. BlackBeerPG (937) - Darien, Illinois, USA - NOV 23, 2017
Taste: complex, crisp fruit notes of peach, mango, semi sweet, smooth with some citrus hops. Fresh floral hops and fruit nose. Gold, unfiltered, big foamy head with multiple ring of lattice to lace. Medium body. gnoff (11053) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 20, 2017

Slight hazy golden color, fluffy off-white head with lacing. Tobacco, floral, malty scent. Malty, bitter, tobacco, floral taste. Bitter, dry, grainy aftertaste. Medium full mouthfeel, high bitterness.
Pours amber orange with a haziness that is opaque when viewed through the glass. Outstanding head volume, world class retention and lacing. Foxbush (2119) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - NOV 6, 2017
Almost world class nose bursting with orange and pineapple over a slightly sweet base with a touch of mango. Grapefruit is in the background with a bit of spruce, which provides a light spiciness.
Heavy light body that is smooth. Very good carbonation / body balance. The middle is slightly effervescent while the finish is prickly. The carbonation level is adequate but lacks that finely bubbled punch to make it outstanding.
The flavor profile is good. The complexity of the nose doesn't separate nearly as well on the palate - nor is it as rich. It comes across as a blended mix of citrus and spruce/pine. Bitterness is light and the finish has a slight astringency. The bottle was not dated, so no allowances are made for age. As presented, it is a disappointment.
12 oz bottle from Growlers to Go in Short Pump, VA The ale poured a cloudy amber color with a frothy head that disipated. Some lacing. The aroma of citrus and pale malts is detected. Nice mouthful of grapefruit and tropical fruit. The IPA has a medium body with average carbonation. Each swallow the finish get better and better. This brewery is coming to Virginia. We visited the new brewery in Botetort County. It is impressive. Just off Rt 220 and not far from I-81 varanid99 (1365) - AUSTRALIA - NOV 2, 2017
Hazy gold with a thin white head. Fairly fruity aroma, lots of orange, peach, pineapple, grapefruit. Taste is similar, lots of pine and grapefruit up front, nice malt underneath comes through, then piney, resiny, long bitter finish RickFifty (1399) - Fredrikstad, NORWAY - OCT 31, 2017

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2017 It's a pretty good beer. It's got decent flavors and a nice easy tropical pallet. Nothing crazy, but I like it
