Disappointed in the execution of the horchata portion as I’d never pick it out. That said, it was a lot like regular VaS, which is great. Hints of spice. Zymurgeist2 (2476) - Redwood City, California, USA - DEC 21, 2015
Tap at Harry’s Hifbrau in San Jose. Very dark brown with ruby highlights. No head. Spiciness and slight cocoa. Looks oily and mouthfeel is viscous. Slight cinnamon spice becomes more pronounced as it warmed. blipp (10115) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 20, 2015
Draft. Pours near black with a beige head. Sweet with spices, cinnamon for sure, with mild roast and plenty of residual sweetness. Like a delicious baked treat. Solid. DedicatedToFun (4003) - Santa Monica, California, USA - JUL 3, 2015
Tap, Blue Palms Takeover, black pour, tan head, nose and taste are horchata, creamy, cinnamon, WOW toxichop (598) - South Gate, California, USA - JUN 27, 2015
My favorite VaS variant. However I prefer the regular Victory over all of them. This smell like regular Victory but with the addition of coconut, almonds and lactose. Making it smell a bit sweet. The vanilla is strong on this one and there a great presence of lactose, cinnamon, almond, and rice pudding in the taste. Dessert beer overall.

On tap at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours Near black with a thick tan head and a chocolate aroma. There is a full-bodied dark molasses, chocolate and vanilla flavor with a nutty finish. baraciisch (3474) - California, USA - APR 22, 2015
BP night at cap tap... Dark black with light tan head... Aroma of sweet malts, lactose, coffee, vanilla... Flavor is very sweet and creamy, lots of cinnamon, lactose... Spicy finish... Like the bread pudding with less bread and more sweetness... Nice

Draft. Black beer with a tan head. Sweet chocolate and lactose aroma. Sweet chocolate and lactose flavor with nuttiness. Medium-plus bodied. Sweet chocolate and lactose lingers with caramel. dinkle50 (1596) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 7, 2015
Black pour with a single finger, slightly off white head. Aroma of cinnamon and milk, like a horchata. This is all kinds of good, but doesn’t beat the regular Victory at Sea. NeuroPliny (250) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 14, 2015
On tap at Beer Rev, Oakland, CA. Pours black with a tan head. Nose is sweet cherry pie, chocolate, sherry, strawberry liqueur, and candied dried fruit. Flavour is candied dried fruit, dark chocolate-covered cherries, Christmas cake, bread pudding, vanilla, dates, creme brûlée, and roasted malts. This is out of this world.
