Bottle: Very hazy pale yellow with a medium fading white head. Funky aroma of yeast, wheat and spice. Flavor starts light with watered down lemon, some spice and a hint of banana. Finish is lightly tart and somewhat dry. Light body, watery texture with high carbonation blutt59 (6564) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 19, 2009
bottle, fairly clear golden pour, foam is short, aroma of bubblegum, flavor is a bit of bubblegum and seltzer, finish is dry rmussman (1701) - California, USA - APR 17, 2009
Sampled in a 22oz. Not bad but still not great. Overall freshness wasnt great. Certainly not a quality wheat brew. A little acidic. Not worth a try. ketchepillar (1198) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - APR 15, 2009
Pours pretty much no head. Not bad, too boring. Couldn’t get any yeast haze till near the end despite my best efforts. A bit of a harsh tang to it-took away from its best quality-you know, that drinkability. Orange. Body is decent, could be drier.

Okay, maybe it was just the fish on the tap handle, but this one smelled fishy. Sure, it had the normal yeasty body and mouthfeel, and cloudy golden color, but it had the funkiest aroma I’ve ever smelled. Smelled like brackish sea water. Not nice. topherh (1928) - Kearney, Missouri, USA - APR 7, 2009
Pours a thick looking hazy yellow. Aroma is banana, pepper, citrus, and yeast. Flavor is wheat tartness, lemon, grass, and a little spice. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 5, 2009
22oz. Bottle: Aroma of wheat, spices, yeast, pepper, cloves, coriander and light lemon. Poured yellow/flaxen in color with a small white head that diminished into a film that lasted as a film on top of the beer. Cloudy. Opaque. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of wheat, spices, coriander, slight curacao, slight lemon, oats, and a hint of hops. Medium body. Tingly, lightly chalky texture. Average carbonation. Sweet, spiced, wheaty finish. There is an unbelievable amount of stuff in this beer. Just looking at the bottle you can see a good three fingers of gunk at the bottom of the bottle. The result is one of the most beautiful hazy orange beers I have ever seen. Doesn’t so much resemble a wit as it does represent itself as something unique. There’s a bit of banana and a lot of spice and yeast in the aroma. The flavor is sweet and fruity at the start before giving way to bitter citrus and loads of biscuity yeastiness. Interesting interpretation of the style. djaeon (15) - Chula Vista, California, USA - MAR 24, 2009
Poured a hazy yellow/orange color, with a light two finger head. Little retention and lacing.
Refreshing, fruity banana and coriander. Smells like an above average hef to me.
Light maltiness. Fruity banana flavors at the front. Some mild apple and orange flavors in the background.
Feels great in the mouth. Slides down smooth and easy.
This could be an easy stand-by beer to go to when nothing else strikes your fancy. I wouldn’t stick with drinking it all night, but it’s good to give your palate a break once in a while with something that easily tastes good.
