Very Oyster stout like...dry and roasted with a very line brineyness. The addition of spices (bay leaf and sage) make this a complex treat of a whole nother variety, though. Unique and tasty chinchill (5224) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 23, 2014

On tap at the brewery. Pours with a clear deep brown, bordering on black hued body with a large tan head that lasts and leaves good lace. Aromas show a fruity ester character, medium funky, mint, sage, light caramel, toffee and odd spice. Flavors are lightly malty, toasty, mint, lightly funky, light chocolate, sage. Odd beer (I had no idea what the ingredients were at the time). Medium carbonation, dry and crisp.
