Love me some Ballast Point Brewing...
Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is pleasant: caramel, bread, some resin, light floral, dough, some alcohol, some banana, hints of smoke and vanilla.Taste is nicely balanced... light body, thin feel, oily feel, average carbonation, slightly bitter finish. I enjoyed this brew paired wit a steak salad and it went along quite nicely. Much better than the Alaskan Summer I had just befo.
Keepin’ it gangsta.
Not great for me with an aftertaste I don't like. .............................

LCI. Uit de fles geschonken. Nice lager-ish beer, malty and fresh. Nothing special. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUN 3, 2017
To my surprise this really feels like a kolsh. Very easy to drink. Smooth malts, light sweetness. Surprisingly good! (On tap at Parkside) La sentinelle (41) - Jinan, CHINA - MAY 30, 2017

Can at home, all alone. Clear golden with a huge head. The aroma is citrus and corny grain. Lots of lemon soap. The body is light and effervescent, the flavor is grainy with a bit of turpentine after taste. Lemony and crisp finish. Not the best kolsch.

I think this is actually decent, I like it more than I expected to. It pours clear yellow/orange with a quick fading bit of foam. The aroma is to the malty side, sort of a sugary vanilla, plus notes like roses and citrus. The flavor is slightly malty, too. Not overly malty, but this beer isn’t a hop explosion. I could drink this again. bdleedahl (436) - , Saskatchewan, CANADA - APR 28, 2017
This is the cask aged version from their SD pub. It's very citrusy, and the lemon and lime are quite strong. It has a nice rounded full body for a kolsch, almost puts it out of the style.

On tap. Pours a clear golden color with a head that fades quickly. Aroma of citrus, fruit and bit of malt sweetness. Taste of fruit and slight malt sweetness. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Light body and quite smooth. Not bad but doesn’t come across as a true Kolsch. jmgreenuk (9449) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - FEB 25, 2017
Tap at the Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong Ballast Point tap takeover. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, cardboard, light fruit. The flavour is light bitter light sweet with a light watery light fruit light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Kinda light all round really and a little bland. gyllenbock (9160) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 19, 2017
Bottle from a 7Eleven in San Diego. Clear golden with a medium white head. Quite sweet with malt, grass, some perfume and light hops. The body was on the light side. Soft and easy to drink.
